1) British Swallowtail Butterfly - from an original Ink and Watercolour

This artwork was derived from a photo of this beautiful butterfly at Strumpshaw Fen. You will find plump caterpillars on milk parsley throughout various parts of Norfolk, in The Broads, where this species thrives. The butterflies are often seen at the end of May at Strumpshaw Fen Wildlife Reserve. You will need to be patient, as they are rare to spot!
